  • Superintendent Seals Update for MCS Families
    Update as of 03.27.20

    Dear Parents,

The first week of distance learning is in the books, and we are so proud of, and thankful for, the outstanding work of our teachers, students, and you to make it a success.

I am pleased to let you know that report cards for the 3rd nine weeks of school will be distributed on April 2, 2020. As you recall, the release of these report cards was delayed due to the unusual circumstances of school closure. Parents of students in grades K-2 will receive their child’s report card through the mail. Parents of students in grades 3-12 may access their child’s report card online via Active Parent or Active Student accounts beginning on April 2.  Read more

    Reporting Lost or Stolen Laptop
Students will be allowed to take their device home including the holidays.  Please be aware that we will not be providing technical assistance during this time.  If your laptop is lost or stolen, you will need to contact the police immediately and fill out the Theft Form to report it to school administration.  Parent/guardian will be responsible for full replacement cost of laptop if not reported to MCS personnel within calendar 3 days of missing the device.

    Our Vision:
We envision MAUE to be a safe environment where standards-based instruction based on formative assessments leads to growing all students.  Our students will experience real life application of basic skills and concepts by providing programs that enhance artistic, scientific, technological and character development.
    Our Mission:
MAUE has a rich tradition of outstanding student achievement by providing a sound standards-based education while promoting high moral character of all students.  We envision these qualities to continue and be further enhanced as we follow a plan that first insures a safe, orderly learning environment.  MAUE will then use diagnostic testing to assess students individually to determine strengths and weaknesses.  Our course of instruction will be developed to meet each student's needs.  Students will be provided opportunities to explore and actively engage in the learning process to enhance artistic, scientific, and technological growth as well as social and character development.  MAUE will provide opportunities for partnership with parents and the community to prepare students to be productive, responsible and life-long learners.
