What is Graphic Design and why should I take it?

Graphic Design basically is visual problem solving using text and/or graphical elements. Your aim is tocreate something that is pleasing to the eye, and get the attention of theviewer. Things just can’t look cool, they have to work as well. How effectiveis a great looking restaurant menu if you can’t for the life of you find thebeverages, or its hard to tell what price goes with what? This class isdesigned to provide you an introduction to various graphic and image editingprograms. You will learn to consider standard design guidelines whiledeveloping your projects.
