ASHLEY DAVIS - MC Lady Jaguars Assistant Coach
Ashley Davis is a recent graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor’s degree
in Secondary Education and an emphasis in History. Coach Ashley Davis is in her second year teaching as a 7th
grade Social Studies teacher at Madison Middle School.
Mississippi State she played soccer briefly at Troy
University on a soccer scholarship where she still holds the record for most
assists in a game! She graduated from NorthWest Rankin High School in 2007, where she played soccer on the varsity team starting in 8th grade. She was awarded First Team All State her senior
year and was elected by her coach to represent her school in the All-Star game
where she was awarded the MVP. She also helped her select team earn numerous State Championships while playing for
Mississippi United/Chicago FIRE Juniors of MS Soccer Club. Coach Davis also earned honors representing the state of Mississippi while playing for the MS 89’ Olympic Development Program (ODP) team.
She has never won a State Championship as a high school player which is why her first season was so special for her. Coaching both Boys and Girls as an Assistant
and not only getting to the State Championship but having both teams winning was a
dream come true for her. Coach Davis is extremely
excited to be returning and assisting Coach Hinds to hopefully
two more state championships again this year!
