Welcome to 8th grade United States History! My name is Mrs. Frazier and this is my 11th year teaching at Old Town Middle. I love teaching history, so I hope we have a great year. I am just as responsible as you for the success of this school year and I will do my part, but to pass you must do YOUR part. As a hall, we are working to prepare you for high school and have a higher level of expectations. We are also here to guide you through those expectations to help you be as successful as you can be. Please adhere to classroom, hallway, and school rules to maximize your education and make Old Town a great and safe place to be!

About me: I coach cross-country for 7-12 grade and high school girls' track. I graduated from Tennessee Tech University where I ran cross country and track for 4 years on a scholarship. I still enjoy running and ran in the Boston Marathon in the spring of 2019. I love to travel and experience new cultures. I've been to Nicaragua, Thailand, The Czech Republic, Scotland, England, Portugal, France, Italy, Austria, Germany, Spain, Malta, San Marino, Vatican City, Morocco, Japan, Malaysia, India, The Seychelles, The United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Istanbul, and Greece. I try to travel whenever I can and I always have a story or a picture of my travels for my students. I'm a proud Titan and I love to help my kids succeed. I was the 2019-2020 Old Town Middle School Teacher of the Year, the 2023-2024 Old Town Middle School Teacher of the Year, the 2023-2024 Madison County Schools District Middle School Teacher of the Year, I have a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, I serve as the history department chair, and I am currenlty working on my National Board Certification.
