Important Announcements

1).  Office hours are 10-11:30 am and 2:00-3:30.

2).  Students must go to canvas, open up modules associated with current week's information.

3).  Students must sign up for Remind 101 now.  We will communicate through email and Remind 101.

4).  All lesson Plans/Assignments/Quizzes are found on my Canvas page.  I will email any documents you need at the beginning of the week!!

Thank you for your patience during this time of uncertainity. I expect all students to stay on task over the next couple of weeks.  Parents and students all work and instructional material can be found on my canvas webpage.  I will also be available so you can email me at tmcintyre@madison-schools with questions during the hours 10:00 am-11:30 am and 2:00 pm-3:30 pm.

3/23-3/27: We will begin distance learning.  Assignments are on Canvas:  Chemistry: Module 5 Chapter 10 Lesson and Notes:  Once you are in Module 5: Law of Conservation of Mass and Stoichiometry, click on the tab above the Chapter 10: The Mole Notes.  Here you will find all videos and instructional materials that will help guide you with your assignments.  Upload an attachment of your handwritten, completed work for all assignments on canvas.

AP Chemistry: Module 5: Chemical Equilibrium Chapter 13 Lesson and Notes: Once you are in Module 5: Chemical Equilibrium, click on the tab above Chapter 13 Chemical Equilibrium PP. Here you will find all videos and instructional materials that will help guide you with your assignments.  Upload an attachment of your handwitten, completed work for all assignments on canvas.  Also complete Module 12 and 13 in Flinnprep.

AP Chemistry:  Module 5: Acids an Bases Chapter 14 Lesson and Notes:  Once you are in Module 5: Acids and Bases, click on the tab Chapter 14 Acids and Bases PP.  Here you will find all videos and instructional materials that will help guide you with your assignments.  Upload an attachment of handwritten, completed work for all assignments on canvas.  Reminder: Complete Module 12 and 13 in Flinnprep. Also go to the college board website, each morning at 9:00-9:45 they provide lessons that review for the upcoming exam!!

 4/6-4/10:  Assignments are on Canvas:  Chemistry: We will finish up Module 5 Chapter 10 in Law of Conservation of Mass and Stoichiometry. If you are having trouble with your assignments, go to youtube and look at Tyler Dewitt videos that cover the topics in Chapter 10.  I will be setting up a video conference Wednesday April 8 at 10 am to clear up any questions you have on all topics in Chapter 10.

AP Chemistry:  We will continue finish up any assignments in Chapter 13 and 14 that have not been completed.  I will add additional assignments from Chapter 15 Acid-Base Equilibria.  Also, we will have a video conference on Wednesday April 6 at 2 pm to discuss any questions that relates to Chapter 13 and 14.

4/13-4/17  Assignments are on Canvas: Chemistry: We will finish Chapter 10 in Module 5 in Law of Conservation of Mass.  I have emailed you a copy of the Chapter 10 study guide that I would like for you to finish.  We will have our video conference on Wednesday and Thursday of this week @ 2 pm to prepare for an test on Chapter 10 on Friday, April 17th.  All chemistry students are invited to come with any questions you have on the material covered in Chapter 10. Keep working to continue to finish all assignments on Canvas.

AP Chemistry:  We move away from Module 5 to Module 3 Chemical Bonding.  We will concentrate on Chapter 7-9. I have opened the assignments on canvas and emailed you a hard copy for you to have just in case it cannot be opened on canvas.  We will have our video conference on Wednesday and Friday this week.  The time will be @10 am and everyone is invited to join. Chapter 7 is what we will focus on this week.  Keep working to continue to finish all assignments due on Canvas.

4/20-5/1  Assignments are on Canvas: Chemistry: Module 5 Chapter 11 Lesson and Notes: Once you are in Module 5: Law of Conservation of Mass and Stoichiometry, click on the tab above the Chapter 10: The Mole Notes.  Here you will find all videos and instructional materials that will help guide you with your assignments.  We will have our video conference on Thursday, April 23rd at 2:00 pm. Chapter 11 will be the focus and also we will answer any questions related to Chapter 10.  A 15 question quiz will be given on Chapter 10 on Friday, April 24th.

AP Chemistry:  We will continue in Module 3 Chemical Bonding.  We will concentrate on Chapter 8.  I have opened the assignments on canvas and emailed you a hard copy for you.  We will have our video conference on Thursday, April 23rd to discuss chapter 8 and also answer any questions related to Chapter 7.  Also, next will begin to review material covered this school year.

5/4-5/15. Assignments are on Canvas:  Chemistry: Module 5 Chapter 11 Lesson and Notes.  The assigned assignments will cover the final two weeks of school. Everything will be due on May 15th.

AP Chemistry:  Review Units 1-7 for those taking the AP Chemistry Test on Thursday, May 14th.  Also go to the AP central website and review all procedures for taking the AP Chemistry Exam. There is also review material on the website were you can practice on questions.  Also, review the you tube videos that are on the AP central website.
