In order to provide the funds we need to enhance our school and to achieve our PTO goals, we need our OTMS family to participate in our fundraisers. By the time your child gets to middle school, the PTO no longer organizes big complicated fundraisers such as selling cookie dough or World’s Finest Chocolate like elementary schools traditionally do. Instead, we rely on age-appropriate fundraisers that are easy to manage and don’t take time out of your busy schedule. So if you see a notice about a restaurant fundraiser or learn that we’re selling Bop’s milkshakes, please make sure your family or student participates.
There are also some easy ways you can raise money for the PTO simply by shopping:

Box Tops For Education
Box Tops are found on specially marked products, and they are worth 10 cents each, which can add up over time. In the past, we’ve asked our OTMS families and friends to clip and collect Box Tops. However, Box Tops For Education has recently changed the way they collect Box Tops to fit today’s families. Now, they offer a new, improved Box Tops mobile app that uses state-of-the-art technology to scan your store receipt, find participating products and instantly add Box Tops to the school’s earnings online. During the transition, we will still accept traditional Box Tops that are clipped and turned in. However, we do encourage you to download the new Box Tops app and start scanning your store receipt. Old Town is an AmazonSmile organization. If you shop at Amazon.com, use the link every time so that a percentage of your purchase will be given to the OTMS PTO:
And, finally, we’re always happy to accept donations to the PTO, so feel free to reach out to one of our PTO board members if you or another family member would like to make a tax-deductible donation.
