  • Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death among young people ages 10-24 in Mississippi; it can be prevented.  

     

    Prevention Works: Many people who feel suicidal do not want to die.  There are programs and practices that have been specifically developed to support those who are in a student crisis.   Listed below are several resources for parents, caregivers, coaches, or any person working with youth to access to learn more about suicide awareness and prevention.
