This book, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes,  is the Prequel to the Hunger Games Trilogy.  It is IN THE LIBRARY! Now I hear the movie will be released November 17, 2023.  PLEASE PLEASE read the book before you watch the movie!  I read the Hunger Games trilogy and I am so glad I read the books before seeing the movies.  I have vivid pictures in my head that were created as I read the book.  The casting crew of the movie did a pretty good job matching the images in my mind.  Honestly, I would never have understood the movies if I had not read the books.  To this day, I want to wear my makeup the way they describe it in the book!  So READ THE BOOK QUICKLY before you are tempted to watch the movie first!  Never a good idea! :)
