It's a Great Day to Be a Titan!!!!
My name is Michelle Milner and I am a 6th grade Math teacher at Old Town Middle School. I received my bachelor's and master's degrees from Mississippi College and I am highly qualified to teach math through the 12th grade. I have taught for Madison County Schools for 18 years, 13 of these at Old Town Middle School.
I have been married to Mark Milner for 27 years and we have two beautiful daughters, Jessica and Ashley. My husband and I have lived in Madison our entire lives. We graduated from Madison-Ridgeland High School, attend First Baptist Church in Ridgeland, and volunteer in many activities in the area. Our girls both graduated from Ridgeland High School where they both participated in many activities including band, soccer, TSA, and several other academic clubs. They both are furthering their education to come back to the Madison County area and give back to the community that they know and love. As you can see, my family is very dedicated to Madsion County and the schools.
This school year will be one of the best that your child will experience as we begin to focus on what your child will need at the high school and college level. I know this school year is presenting some very specific challenges that will make school a bit different for all of us. it is very important that all of our students are prepared for the tasks that lie ahead and I am going to make sure that is done. Most of the work will now be on Big Ideas Math/Canvas so you will be able to keep up with what your child is learning. If you want to get a heads up on what is scheduled, I will have a monthly calendar and chapter overview available. The tabs to the links are located to the left. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org
or call the school at 601-898-8730. I look forward to working with you this school year!
