    About the Teacher

     

    Hello! My name is Summer Nation. I teach Ceramics 1 and 2 and am sponsor of the World Culture Club at GHS.  My Bachelor of Fine Arts is from Memphis College of Art, and my Masters in Education of Art from Mississippi College. This will be my 19th year of teaching Art in Mississippi. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Art for Early Adolescence through Young Adulthood. 

    I love to travel and learn about art and cultures from all over the world. We are heading to London & Paris this summer, and planning a trip with students to see Greece in 2023! If you are interested, check out the tour website here.
