Hello! My name is Delila Vance. This is my sixth year serving as the Librarian/Media Specialist at Ann Smith Elementary and my 21st year in education. I look forward to getting to know each student as I see them weekly in the library and share my love of reading.

The library should be a warm, safe, and inviting place for all students. This year in the library, the students will have the opportunity to hear stories that will support the curriculum they are working on in class, learn how to use the school library effectively, as well as learn to be a good Digital Citizen while using school-issued devices.  Students will use stories to inspire them to create using various STEM materials. They will also have the opportunity to take AR quizzes to earn points and rewards.
