Allyson Tompkins- 2nd Grade Teacher -2022-2023 -ASE 

Welcome to Ann Smith Elementary! My name is Allyson Tompkins, and I am so excited to get back to school and teaching second grade! This is my 19th year of teaching and my 9th year at ASE! I have taught fourth grade, first grade, have been an interventionist for k-2 and currently teach second grade. I graduated from Delta State University in Elementary Education and received my Masters Degree from Belhaven University.

I am originally from Greenville, MS and currently live in Canton. I have three daughters, twins who are 21 years old and attend MS State University and my 17-year-old daughter, who is a senior at Germantown High School.

I am looking forward to getting to know your child and watching them grow and bloom into a successful second grader ready for the next level!!! :) I will be posting our weekly Newsletter on Ann Smith’s webpage each week! This will provide you with important information for your child and the skills we will be learning that week!
