Week 2 of Distance Learning
Dear Students and Parents,
I have attached some assignments for you and your student to choose from here; unfortunately, I could not post them all on this webpage. However, all of the assignments are loaded on CANVAS. If you prefer a hardcopy, you can pick up a packet at MAUE. The packet only contains the GRADED work. Please remember that... the ONLY ASSIGNMENTS YOUR CHILD HAS TO COMPLETE ARE THE ONES MARKED GRADED.
I've added ReadWorks and Study Island assignments too. Please email or Remind me with any questions.

About the TeacherNumber of years teaching experience: 12Education:Bachelor’s Degree in English from Millsaps CollegeMasters in Teaching Arts from Mississippi CollegeTeaching Certifications:Secondary English LiteratureMild/Moderate Special EducationElementary EducationI began teaching English at Canton High School in 2008 after staying home with my children for 14 years. I left Canton in 2012 and moved to Brandon Middle School where taught 7th and 8th grade English. In 2014, I was so happy to move to MAUE and teach Special Education. During this time, I taught all three grades (3rd, 4th & 5th) direct instruction from 2014-2017 and taught 4th grade inclusion from 2017-2019. This year I had the wonderful opportunity to move to 3rd grade as a general education teacher. I believe that my experience in secondary education and elementary education has given me a unique perspective regarding the education of each student.
