Hi Maverick families! I am so very excited to once again serve as assistant principal for Mannsdale Upper Elementary. I look forward to helping support your child’s growth academically, emotionally, and socially in a positive and safe environment. I want your child to LOVE coming to MUES! It’s going to be a fun year full of learning!
I have grown up in Madison all my life, and graduated from Madison Central. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. I also hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Mississippi College. I am a National Board Certified Teacher and hold my Maintenance of Certification.
This is my fifteenth year in education. Prior to being assistant principal, I was a literacy specialist for Madison Avenue Upper Elementary for two years, taught kindergarten at Mannsdale Elementary for six years, and taught third grade at Brandon Elementary for five years.
My husband, Brad, and I have two children, Laura and Bryton who keep us very busy! My family LOVES outdoor activities, especially baseball and cheer. We also love hanging out, playing games, traveling to Major League Baseball stadiums, and playing with our puppies, Wrigley and Dottie.
