    My Family

Welcome to 6th grade at MMS. My name is Tanya Robertson and I teach 6th grade science. This will be my fifth year to teach in the Madison County School District. My family and I are thrilled to be a part of this amazing school. I am married to Eric Robertson, the defensive coordinator at Madison Central High School. We have three boys. Creek is a senior at Madison Central High School, Britt is in 10th grade at Madison Central High School, and John Colt is in 5th grade at Madison Station Elementary. I am from Oxford, MS. I graduated from The University of Mississippi with an undergrad degree in 2002 as a Taylor Medalist. I also graduated with a master's degree in 2016 from The Universty of Mississippi. I was named Teacher of the Year at Lafayette Elementary School and Teacher of the Year for the Lafayette County School District in 2010. I was also selected as one of Madison County's Soil and Conservaton Teachers of the the Year in 2019. My family and I love being a part of "Jag Nation" and are excited about the 2020-2021 school year. I can't wait to meet each of you.
