    Ms. Alex Gibert

    RHS PHONE NUMBER - (601) 898-5023.

Welcome to English I & Accelerated English I!

I am a graduate of Ridgeland High School.  After high school, I attended and graduated from The University of Mississippi with a degree in Journalism with minors in English Literature and African American Studies.  After graduation, I moved to Austin, TX and worked in information technology sales.  I was so unhappy, and kept dreaming about becoming a teacher.  I finally quit, moved back home to Ridgeland and earned my teaching license!

This is my second year at RHS, but my sixth year teaching.  I also serve as the Assistant Swim Coach and Assistant Tennis Coach.

I truly believe that being a teacher is a calling.  I am incredibly passionate about teaching.  I look forward to teaching the future leaders of the United States of America!
Please do not hesitate to contact me.  I believe the key to success is communication.  I am more than happy to speak with you when we are both available.
