About the Teacher

Hi.  My name is Mary Minich.  This is my fourth year in Madison County Schools.  I am the literacy specialist at Madison Station Elementary.  I have 31 years of teaching experience.  Previous to Madison County Schools, I taught in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  I was a literacy interventionist for 14 years and I also taught kindergarten and 1st grade.  

I have 3 children-Luke, Jake and Anna.  Luke is a judicial law clerk in Washington, D.C.  Jake is construction manager in Oakland, CA and Anna is a freshman at the University of Alabama. I have been married to my husband, Neal, for 35 years.
