    Welcome to 5th grade at Mannsdale Upper Elementary!

     

    I am so excited to be a part of the 5th grade team at MUES! I am very excited about this upcoming school year! I can't wait to meet each and every one of you!

    My name is Laura (Abby) Rowland.  I will be your Science and Social Studies teacher.  Mrs. Harris will be your ELA teacher, and Mrs. Mosal will be your Math teacher.

     

    The 2024-2025 school year will be my 21st year of teaching - the last 7 in Madison County.  I have taught grades 1-5 and 7/8.  My favorite subject is Science, and my second favorite subject is Social Studies/History! 

     

    It's a great day to be a Maverick....especially at Mannsdale Upper!

    Canvas is the District's web-based learning management system. It is used to access and manage online course learning materials and communicate.  All class content will be uploaded to Canvas.  Parents, click the link to become a Canvas Class Observer to view your child's lessons and grades. 

    Remind
    Remind is the District's approved mobile messaging platform to communicate with students and parents.
