• USM Siblings Yeti Coach Stokes

My name is Bailey Stokes, and I teach Economics, Mississippi Studies and World Geography. Welcome to an exciting year!

This will be my seventh year as a teacher, and I am truly blessed to be able to work in such a great school district that doubles as my hometown. I graduated from Madison Central in 2013, where I competed on the softball team and helped the team win three state championships. I then went on to play softball at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Mississippi, for my freshman year. During my sophomore year, I transferred to the University of Southern Mississippi to play softball. I graduated from USM in May 2018 with a bachelors degree in History with a licensure to teach social studies from grades 7-12. I also completed my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Mississippi College in December 2020.

I am the assistant coach for the fastpitch softball team here at Madison Central, where I work mostly with hitting, infield, and weight-lifting.

I have a brother named Bradley who graduated from Madison Central in 2017, Mississippi State in 2021 (go dawgs), and he will be finishing dental school at UMMC in May! I have a sister named Presley who is a ninth grader at Rosa Scott. I also have a goldendoodle pup named Yeti.
