       Saxton

    I can't wait to begin the 2024-2025 school year! I am so excited about starting my 7th year of teaching!!! 

    I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2018 and my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2021. (SMTTT!) I am currently a National Board candidate and hope to certify in December. 

     

    My husband, Cody, and I have two children: Miles is 5, and Ellie Bet will be 3 in October. They most certainly keep me busy outside of school! We enjoy Friday night tailgating and football games at Hartfield Academy, where Cody is the Assistant athletic director and high school offensive line coach. I love to spend time with my family, a good-smelling candle (specifically, Sweet Grace!), a clean house, & serving people! 

     

    I look forward to a great year in 3rd grade with my precious students at MUES! Go Mavs!!
