Coach Brad Boteler is a Madison native and graduate of Madison Central. As a player at Madison Central, he won two state championships as well as a boys doubles state champion his senior year. Coach Boteler attended Mississippi College on a tennis scholarship, where he was a 4 year starter. He obtained his Master's from Mississippi College in 2004 while serving as the graduate assistant coach to the Mississippi College tennis team from 2002-04. Coach Boteler is a USPTR teaching professional. This is his 15th year as Madison Central tennis coach and his 6th year as the head coach. Coach Boteler has been named the NFSH MS Tennis Coach of the Year and the NFSH Southern Tennis Coach of the Year. He has been named Clarion Ledger Coach of the Year 3 times, and was named the 2019-2020 Mississippi Association Coach of the Year. He is married to Kate Boteler and they are members of Broadmoor Baptist Church.
