    Mrs. Allen's Class

    Cecily Headshot

Hi! My name is Mrs. Allen. I will be your child's second grade teacher! I am so excited about beginning this new adventure at MAE as a teacher. My classroom will be a safe and positive educational environment where each student can grow to their full potential. I want each student to be able to create, collaborate, and communicate their ideas. This is going to be such a great year! I cannot wait to meet each of you!

I grew up right here in Madison. I went to school in the Madison School District and graduated from Madison Central. "Go JAGS!!" I graduated from Mississippi State University, "Go DAWGS," with my bachelor's in education. I have taught first grade, third grade, and fourth grade. This will be my tenth year teaching!

My husband and I live in Madison and just celebrated our ten-year anniversary. We have two fur babies, Moses and Finnley, that I will most definitely talk about a lot. Some things I enjoy in my spare time are: going to the beach, spending time with family and friends, playing games, and painting.

Picture of Mrs. AinsworthWelcome to 2nd Grade. I am EXCITED about being able to experience this school year with you and your child. My mission is to make this the best year. First, I plan on doing my best to meet each child's individual needs. Second is to make this a fun learning environment. I want each child to love reading, writing, and doing math.

Let me introduce myself to you. This is my 8th year at Madison Avenue. I am a 1992 graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi in Pre-Professional Psychology. I have been married to Danny Ainsworth for 17 years. We have a daughter who will be in the 10th grade this year. I have 2 dogs and one cat. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family
