My name is Ms. Reed Hairston. I'm originally from Columbus, MS. I received my bachelor's degree in Music Education from The University of Alabama and my master's degree in Music from Ole Miss. I enjoy teaching music, traveling, and spending time with my German shepherd, Stella. 

This is my 2nd year at Germantown Middle. I teach Music Appreciation/General Music and Show Choir; I'm also the Assistant Coach for the Dance Team!! I believe that all students have a right to a well-rounded education where they can pursue their interests in many different areas. Music instruction takes a significant role in such an education! In music class, we will sing, play instruments, learn about music history, and most importantly... HAVE FUN!!! :)
