If you have any you would like to donate to our class, we would appreciate them!! Thank you!!!Dear Art Parents,
I am SO excited about this year and I can’t wait to meet your student!! Here is a picture of my two loves!! My daughter, Bella Reese, is six and will be going into the 1st Grade and my son, Cooper, is three-years-old and is already a professional climber and truck driver.
I have proudly been teaching art at GMS since 2009. I attended Jones County Junior College and I was the Bobcat mascot and Homecoming Queen. I then transferred to the University of Southern Mississippi and shorty there after I met my husband and decided to move back home to be closer to him and finish my Art Education degree at Mississippi Collage.
My amazing and hardworking husband is in his second year of Dental School at UMMC!!
We’re BIG Southern Miss fans! SMTTT!! Go Eagles!! My favorite drink is a glass-bottled Coca-Cola and big ole Mt. Dew, but I mostly drink Dr. Peppers. I love anything chocolate, Mexican food, and pepperoni pizza! I love shopping at the Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby, and Apple Annie’s! I also collect anything old or antique and Nutcrackers at Christmas time. I’m allergic to scented things and I don’t like coffee.
I can’t wait for you to see all the wonderful artwork your student will make this year!!
There is a fee of $15.00. This will cover everything they will need for the whole year. Please send the fee as soon as you can. If sending a check, please make it payable to Germantown Middle School and write your student's first and last name on the memo line. If paying cash, please send in a sealed envelope with the student’s first and last name on the outside. You will receive a receipt.
The only items they are responsible for having every day is a pencil and an eraser.
I have a calendar on my webpage to show what project we are on and how long it will last. All projects are done in class. If your student feels he/she won’t get finished by the due date, they are more than welcome to come any morning during court yard from 7:45 – 8:15.
I look forward to a fantastic year with your student. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me anytime!
