About the Teacher
Hi y’all. My name is Suzanne Duff Ray and I teach 6th grade PAthways. I grew up in Pontotoc MS and graduated from Pontotoc High School. I have a Masters Degree in Education from Ole Miss. I have my National Board Certification too. This is my 21st year here and I love the Jags. My husband Brian and I have been married for 40 years! We have four children. Our daughter, Georgia Anne, is a teacher and is staying at home with her 4 children in Athens GA. Our daughter, Mary Agnes is also a teacher and is staying home with her son and daughter in Memphis. Both our girls graduated from Madison Central and Ole Miss. I am so proud that they are teachers. Our son, Rob graduated from Madison Central and Ole Miss majoring in Hospitality Management. He also has a precious daughter. He is a Chef and is involved in many areas of the restaurant business in Memphis. Duff graduated from Madison Central and MMI in Orlando FL. He works as a project supervisor for a building company. I am so proud of all of them.
We are so blessed with five absolutely precious granddaughters and two adorable grandsons."As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has - or ever will have - something inside that is unique to all time. It's our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression."
- Mr. Rogers
"Where will our country find leaders with integrity, courage, strength--all the family values--in ten, twenty, or thirty years? The answer is that you are teaching them, loving them, and raising them right now." --- Barbara Bush
