• Madison County Schools is proud to offer students and faculty enrollment in our 1:M Digital Initiative. This program began in the 2014-2015 school year after researching, testing multiple devices in the classroom, evaluating how MCS teachers use technology, consulting with other schools who have implemented 1:1 initiatives, and keeping fiscal responsibility at the forefront. This initiative enhances student learning by creating a personalized, student-centered learning environment in which every student in grades K-12 receives a laptop or tablet for use in school and at home. Families pay an annual fee per student as a form of insurance for each 1:M device.
