Mannsdale Elementary

Hello! My name is Leslie Flowerday. This is my 24th year of teaching. I have my B.S. in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University and my M.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi.  I am a National Board Certified Teacher and currently serve as a National Board Mentor for our school district.  I am so excited to serve as the school’s library media specialist. I believe that books and the library are the heart of our students' educational journey.  Books open doors to new worlds, spark imagination, and nurture a lifelong love of learning. Our library is a safe and welcoming space where children can explore their interests, discover new passions, and develop critical thinking skills.  I am dedicated to fostering an environment that inspires young minds and supports their growth, one book at a time.
