Mississippi Whole Schools

As a member of the Mississippi Whole Schools, Mannsdale is an arts-based school that integrates arts in every classroom to nurture the imagination and impact lifelong learning.  Our mission is to provide students with opportunities to engage in the artistic processes of creating, performing, responding, and connecting with many facets of the arts (dance, media arts, music, theatre, and visual arts). Our teachers train with teaching artists that provide professional development, and we attend/present at the Winter and Summer Arts Institute twice a year.  Students have opportunities to experience high-quality arts integrated instruction that is creative and engaging to meet the needs of all learners.  Our school also hosts a Spring Into the Arts festival each year.  This is a wonderful opportunity for our school and community to come together and celebrate the arts and showcase our students' talents.
