Mrs. Octavia Jackson

Who is Mrs. Jackson?

My name is Octavia Jackson and I will be your child's Third Grade ELA/Social Studies Teacher this year. This will be my second year at Madison Crossing Elementary, but my tenth year in education, and I am so excited to continue to educate students in the Maverick Community!! I have ten years of experience in education. I taught in Madison County for nine years, and one year in Jackson Public School District.

I have been a residence in Madison County with my husband, Victor, for thirteen years, and our eleven-year-old daughter, who will be attending GMS this school year as a sixth grader. We are also the proud dog parents of a eight-year-old male chiweenie named Hunter.
