Beginning on February 3, all school-issued K-8 student devices will be blocked from accessing YouTube both on and off campus. Teachers in K-8 can enable specific YouTube videos relevant to classroom instruction for viewing on or off campus.
School-issued high school student devices will continue to have filtered YouTube access both on and off campus.
Across all MCS campuses, YouTube will no longer be accessible on any personal devices connected to school WiFi. Please note, however, that this restriction will not apply to personal devices using a data plan. Parents should make sure to monitor and review content access available through the data plans on their children’s personal devices.
