>WELCOME TO MRS. PARENTEAU'S PAGE!
Thanks for visiting my page! On this page, you will see important notes from me, and the newsletters for the FABULOUS fourth graders at Madison Crossing. Go MAVS!
My name is Lisa Parenteau. I am a native of Madison. I graduated high school from St. Joe. Then, I went to college at Mississippi State University (Go DAWGS!) and Belmont University, in Nashville, Tennessee. The 2019-2020 school year is my 6th year at Madison Crossing. Prior to being a MAV, I taught 5th grade language arts at Luther Branson Elementary in Canton. I'm always ready to jump in to help the AWESOME fourth graders! What else? Oh yeah! I am an avid runner. I also like creating things: baking, cooking, painting, drawing, decorating, etc. I am married with a very sweet, fun, and silly family. My son's name is William, and he's in kindergarten here at Madison Crossing. I also have a one-year-old little girl, Eliza. I can't forget to mention my wild man and running partner, Nash. Our 4-year-old Labrador retriever.
Dear fourth grade parents and students,
I am delighted to be your child's math and science teacher for the 2019-2020 school year! This is going to be a very interesting and enjoyable year. I am excited to be able to work with each of you. The fourth grade teachers and I are planning many wonderful activities this school year.
Fourth grade is exciting and fast-paced. Each Friday, I will send a newsletter home with the objectives for the next week. I will also update my webpage with the newsletter in case your original copy is ever misplaced! A daily planner and behavior log will go home each night. I ask that a parent or guardian signs the behavior log and checkmarks each of the completed assignments in the planner nightly.
I believe many people have to work together to "Set the Stage of Success". Those people are: the student, the teacher, the parents/family, other school staff, and the community. I know that we can work together to make this year and enjoyable experience for all.
Thank you, parents and students, in advance for your support in making this the best school year EVER!
