
Jennifer Lovitt
Assistant Principal; Curriculum & Testing
Jennifer Lovitt is from Monroe, Louisiana. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana-Monroe in elementary education and a graduate degree in education from Northwestern State University.
Mrs. Lovitt has been an educator for over 30 years, with eight of those years teaching elementary and middle school and 12 years as a media specialist. She is national board certified, and has taught in Louisiana, Texas, Kentucky and Mississippi. She is a graduate of the National Institute for School Leadership as well as the Millsaps Principals' Institute. Mrs. Lovitt was also published in a national educational journal, “Technology Horizons in Education”, with an article on technology funding in the k-12 setting. Mrs. Lovitt is starting her nineteenth year in the Madison County School District.
Mrs. Lovitt is married to Patrick Lovitt and they have two daughters.
She likes spending time outdoors and she loves MMS!
