Welcome to 6th grade ESL for the 2024-2025 school year. I am excited to be back at Old Town Middle School! This is my 2nd year teaching ESL, and 5th year of teaching. Previously, I taught 6th & 8th grade ELA and remedial English. 

I am from Summit, MS and graduated from Bogue Chitto High School in 2002. I attended Mississippi State University, where I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education - Middle School, Social Studies, and English. I also attended Mississippi College and received a Graduate Certificate in TESOL and a Master of Education degree in K-12 Online Curriculum Instruction. 

I am married to Ben, and together we have 3 children who attend the best schools in Mississippi- Madison County Schools. We have 3 dogs and a cat. I enjoy sleep, reading, traveling, going out to eat, and spending time with my family and friends at church and in the community.
