WELCOME!

Welcome to another great year at Old Town Middle School.  It's going to be another fantastic year. We are going learn together and one on one. In this classroom we love to cook, sharpen our life and social skills,  plant plants, make homemade gifts, participate in PE, choir,music, art, sewing, arts and crafts, and keep up with current events in our community.  Our classroom is our family.  We look out and protect each other.  At the end of the day it's all about what did and what  we love about the day. Go Titans!!

ABOUT THE TEACHERS!

Laura Beasley lives in Gluckstadt with her family and has three children. This is her eighth year here at Old Town, but 34th year in the classroom.  Laura loves to cook, read, sew, walk, make pine baskets, and watch movies. She taught in Louisiana for the first 26 years.  She taught first grade, second grade, fourth grade, sixth grade, seventh, eighth grade social studies, math and reading, and Consumer Science. Family, Church, and giving a helping hand is important to Laura. Here at Old Town Laura has found her calling, teaching in the Special Needs classroom.  She wouldn't trade it for anything! This is her family away from home!
