    Welcome Message

Welcome to another great year at Olde Towne Middle School.  It's going to be a fantastic year. We are going learn in small groups. In this classroom we love to cook, sharpen our life and social skills,  plant plants, make homemade gifts, participate in PE, choir, music, and art, sewing, arts and crafts, and keep up with current events in our community.  Our classroom is our family.  We look out and protect each other.  At the end of the day it's all about what did and we love about the day. Go Titans!!

    About the Teacher

Laura Beasley lives in Gluckstadt.  She has a senior, sophomore and one that has already graduated.  This is her fourth year here at Olde Towne, but  30th year in the classroom.  Laura loves to cook, read, sew, walk, and watch movies. She has taught in Louisiana for the first 26 years.  She taught first grade, second grade, fourth grade, sixth grade, seventh, eighth grade social studies, math and reading, and Consumer Science.  Here at Olde Towne Laura has found her calling, teaching in the Special Needs classroom.  She wouldn't trade it for anything! This is her family away from home!

Vivian Lewis - After years of employment in the business sector, Mrs.Lewis expresses she enjoys working with the students here at Olde Towne Middle School.  This is her third year with our institution. She lives with her husband in Clinton, MS where she is active in the community and enjoys gardening, painting, cooking, and crafting. Prior to working at Olde Towne, she worked at a university collaborating with colleagues and assisted students with their financial and enrollment affairs. She has happily repositioned herself working with our special needs students and finds it quite rewarding witnessing their development. She states, "I grew up across the street from a neighbor with special needs whom I love dearly and it does my heart good to work in this particular classroom."
