Welcome to 7th Grade Science!
It's going to be an exciting year! I'm excited about my 16th year in the classroom! I am truly blessed to be a Titan for the 7th year!
Not only am I a teacher, but I am also a mother to two beautiful girls, Clare and Erin, that are both attending Mississippi State University. Clare, our oldest, is a junior this year, and Erin is a freshman. When someone tells you time flies, trust me, it truly does! With the girls gone off to school, this leaves my husband Brian and I as empty nesters. Our sweet pup Daisy helps keep us busy while the girls are away, as does my sweet mom. We are blessed to have her with us! We are members of Grace Crossing Baptist Church where I am active in our Life Group and Choir. On the weekends we enjoy cooking out, visiting with friends and family, and watching MSU sports. Baseball is my all-time favorite season, with football a close second. I love to travel, especially to new places so I can explore and see what other places have to offer.
I am a graduate of Delta State University and hold a Bachelor of Science in Education degree. I attended Mississippi State University where I met and married my husband. Most of my college life were spent in a science classroom as I completed 24 credit hours in science.
I am looking forward to a great year. I will be in touch with each of my parents through calls and emails. Please, do not hesitate to reach out to me should you need to. Not only am I here for the kids, but I'm here for you!
"Everyone has inside them a piece of good news. The good news is you don't know how great you can be! How much you can love! What you can accomplish! And what your potential is!"
"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is ALWAYS to try just one more time."
