Welcome to the Academy of Healthcare Excellence!
I am Jamie Hoerman and I will be teaching Health Science Core 1 and Health Science Clinical Services 1 this year. This is my seventh year teaching at Germantown High School and sixth year as an assistant volleyball coach.
A little about my background. I graduated from University of Kansas with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and I am a registered nurse. I have spent fifteen years working as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Room in four different states. My family and I moved here from St. Louis, MO 7 years ago and we have been blessed by so many people since. My husband and I have been married for 19 years. Our children are excited to call GHS and GMS their home. Miriam is a freshman in college, Samuel is a junior, and Aaron is an eighth grader! We have two furry friends, Murphy and Newman!
My passion is people and I love being a nurse! I am very excited to hear what your plans, thoughts, and ideas are for the future of healthcare. We are going to have a fun year! It is going to be such a blessing to get to work with the students this year.
