    CLASSROOM PROCEDURES

*When you report to class each day, your assignment will be on the board. Check the board for bell assignments.  This brief assignment will only take about 5 – 10 minutes, then you may work on the main assignment for the rest of class.  If you miss a bell assignment, it will be your responsibility to make up the work

*No talking or moving around during explanation of assignment by the teacher. Students are to get appropriate materials and return to designated work areas.

*Your computer should be kept in your backpack and should not be opened unless you have been instructed to use it for something in the classroom. Your backpack needs to be kept under your table to prevent anyone from tripping on it. Phones should be kept in the cell phone area in the front of the classroom. Caught with the computer out when you are not working on an art assignment, cell phone out when it should be in the cell phone area, texting or doing social media in class: 1st Time - sign form and phone/computer kept until end of class; 2nd Time - written up and phone/computer sent to the office.

*The last ten minutes is clean up time. (If you have been painting, it may take longer.) You are responsible for your work area. This includes the supplies you used, your table and the floor. Tables must be wiped down at the end of class with a disinfectant. Take "pride" in your art room and keep it clean.

*Most supplies are provided for you; however, you will need to bring to each class a pencil, an eraser, your art folder, and when instructed an all purpose sketch pad or watercolor pad. Do not leave your personal supplies in the classroom.
