This is my sixth season coaching tennis at GHS. I have always loved tennis from a young age and started taking lessons at the age of 8. I played tennis in middle and high school, and mostly doubles, growing up with my twin sister. I remember going to state championships for two of my four years in high school. My tennis career did not end in high school; I played for four years at Mississippi College on a tennis scholarship. I played all over the state and made many memories that remain with me today. I graduated from Mississippi College with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design and a Master’s in Teaching Arts.
After college, I played league tennis for several years, playing mostly singles. Recently, I have gotten back to playing league tennis since recovering from breast cancer in 2016. My son, Kaleb, will be a Senior at GHS this year. It is going to be an AWESOME season! GO MAVS!
