• COURSE DESCRIPTION:

    Geometry is the development of a logical mathematical system from a set of undefined terms, definitions, postulates, theorems, and corollaries. Topics include special relationships among points, lines, and planes; angle relationships; triangle congruence and inequality; properties of polygons; similarity in figures; segments and angles in circles; and area and volume of two-dimensional and three-dimensional figures. This course is required for graduation. Algebra I is a prerequisite for this course.
